BEEBOOK
The Method
Interactive lessons
Our approach
Interactive lessons with patient and friendly native teachers, tests and materials to learn with a new and stimulating method to learn faster and with less effort.
Listening and repetition
Our approach
The Beebook method exploits the natural way in which the child learns their mother tongue based on listening and repetition by imitation. In many areas there is no explicit reference to grammar.
Learn through experience
The student will learn through the experience they live using the platform, exploring a new world to discover, that will enrich their linguistic background.
This extremely natural way of learning promotes rapid progress in the knowledge and use of the language because it is contextualized to everyday life.
How it looks
Through a series of cartoons whose appearance has been studied to attract the attention and liking of students according to their age group. Each series is divided into three levels made up of 7/8 cartoons lasting about 20 minutes on average.
Starting from these cartoons, the following whole path develops.
Cartoon
The words / phrases are repeated throughout the cartoon several times.
At ever longer intervals the words / phrases are repeated in subsequent lessons taking advantage of the scientifically proven fact, that it is better to remember with a few repetitions over long intervals of time, rather than with many repetitions in a short interval of time.
Vocabulary
It is a known fact, that even if a language includes tens of thousands of words, the vocabulary which is normally used, is much less; in fact a thousand words are enough to manage a normal conversation. The Beebook learning system focuses on memorizing the most common words, by selecting them carefully.
Exercises
The cartoon allows you to simultaneously acquire words, grammatical rules and pronunciation. It allows you to learn phrases used in everyday life. The contents of the dialogues present in the cartoons are proposed in both written and oral form to give the student the opportunity to learn the new language quickly, as occurs to a child who learns to speak. On the contrary, in most traditional methods, there is a tendency to distinguish between “grammar”, “conversation”, “vocabulary”, at the expense of the unity of learning. The exercises allow the student to have immediate feedback on the level acquired and to evaluate the progression of their learning in a natural way, while finding satisfaction in the progress made.
